Las Cruces, NM. On Saturday, September 30, 2023, Gia Marie Lopez departed from this earth and
returned to the heavenly realm from which she came. We never imagined our beau ful Gia Marie Lopez
would gain her angelic wings at just seven weeks old to reunite with our Heavenly Father. The loss of
baby Gia has le us deeply saddened and heartbroken. Gia was loved by all who met her, and we will
never forget the joy she brought to our world. Gia had an irresis ble smile, and the sound of her
laughter was endearing and invi ng. In her litle life, she spoke volumes in love she shared. Her
personality and demeanor were light and joyous, and the sparkle from her beau ful eyes invoked the
warmth of love. Gia's brief me with us le footprints in our hearts that we will forever cherish. Beloved,
our Gia will always be.
Gia Marie Lopez is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Mary Torres, and her great uncle, Mathew Torres. Her maternal great-grandfather, Bobby Estrada, two great uncles, Michael and
Joey Estrada, and her aunt, Analisa Neveah Lopez. Her maternal great-great-grandparents, Mr. & Mrs.
Isaac Orona Sr., and great-great-grandfather Marcos Ricardo Estrada. Gia was also preceded in death by
her paternal great-grandfather, Felipe Lopez.
Gia Marie Lopez is survived by her loving mother and father, Madison Torres and Robert Lopez, both of
Las Cruces, New Mexico. Her surviving family includes her maternal grandparents, Corinna Torres &
Mateo Peralta, paternal grandmother Stephanie Estrada, and Grandfather Vincent Lopez. Gia Marie
Lopez is also survived by her maternal great-great-grandmother, Micaela Sanchez, great-grandfather
Mario Torres, paternal great-grandmother Alice Estrada & great-grandfather, Leroy Chavez. Her great
aunt and uncle Veronica, Torres, and James Sedillo. Her great uncle and aunt Mark and Amanda Torres.
Her uncle Paulray Torres, cousins Aaron Vargas Jr. and Jourdan Herrera, Angelique Torres-Vargas,
Isabella Vargas, Aaron Vargas 3rd, Elijah Torres, and Troy Vargas, Miles Torres and numerous aunts,
uncles, and cousins.
