Clinton-Henry R. Lipka, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Corcoran House in Clinton. He is survived by his four children, Stephen M. Lipka of Clinton; Allan R. Lipka & wife Kimberly of Shrewsbury; Peggy Lipka of Clinton; and James P. Lipka & wife Christina of Sterling; his sister, Charlotte Wilson of Sterling; six grandchildren, Mandy, Jenna, Michael, Matthew, Skyler, and Nikolas; 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Andrew, Henry, and Chloe; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his siblings, Helen Sesia, Theresa LeBlanc, Stanley, Vincent, Joseph, William, Donald, Walter, Edward, and infant brother Chester Lipka.
Henry was born in Clinton, son of the late Stanley & Antoinette (Krawczyk) Lipka. He graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1956 and enlisted to proudly serve our nation in the US Army National Guard. Henry then began his professional career with Clinton Plastics, and later joined Nypro, Inc., from where he ultimately retired as warehouse supervisor after nearly thirty years of employment. An avid golfer, Henry enjoyed trips to Ireland, Myrtle Beach, and St. Andrews, Scotland. He was a long time member of Westminster Country Club, and after retirement a part-time groundskeeper at The Haven Country Club. Henry enjoyed fishing, cheering for the Bruins, and as a proud Grampy, attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events and activities. He was a loving family man, devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4 until 6PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 6PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Burial will later be held privately in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Henry Lipka to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
