Henry E. Milstead Sr.

Henry E. Milstead, Sr., 82, of Camp Hill, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab Center, Harrisburg. Born November 27, 1941, in Washington, DC, he was the only child of the late Thomas and Helen Economas. Henry was the loving husband of Eleanor Milstead, who preceded him in death on May 9, 2024. They shared 66 years of marriage.
He worked as a Fire Chief with the Federal Government until his retirement. Henry was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed driving school bus for Rohrers Bus Company after his retirement. He especially loved being the permanent driver for the Trinity High School girls basketball team for several years. He also enjoyed online role-playing games, going to the casino, and getting Dairy Queen's hot fudge sundaes with EXTRA hot fudge!
He leaves behind his 1 son, Henry Milstead, Jr. and his wife Heidi; his 2 daughters, Missy Milstead and her wife Jacque, Tina Milstead; his 2 grandchildren, Tassia and her husband Joey Ortega, Trey Milstead, and Shannon and her husband Brandon Novakoski; and his 4 great-grandchildren, Peyton Ortega, Quentin Ortega, Barrett Novakoski, and Ann Novakoski.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
