Hilda Sue Freeny, 91, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center-Leake Hospital.
Visitation is 10:00 am until 11:00 am Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 11:00 am Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in the Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Dale Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Standing Pine Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Freeny was a native of Leake County and a member of Standing Pine Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a son, Michael Freeny of Carthage; 3 daughters, Glenda Ware of Walnut Grove, Janie Huckabe of Pearl, and Joan Freeny of Luling, LA; a brother, Bert Scott of Carthage; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Jonathan Ware, Sterling Fields, Care Ware, Don Scott, and Henry Freeny.
