Jake is survived by his wife, Jessica, and their shared children, Zeck (Rhianna), Isaah (Kenzie), Caiden, and Marley, and their family pets, Toby and Lola.
He is also survived by his mother, Mary, and stepfather, Melvin; his uncle, Lynn; three brothers, Patrick, Mark, and Junior; his sister, Erin; his in-laws, Jim and Kathy Gates; his nephew, Edward, and his niece, Eleanor.
Jake loved his family more than words could ever express. He was the type of person to drop everything he was doing to be there for those who needed him. Jake always spoke of how he wanted true greatness for everyone.
Jake enjoyed many things during his life. He spent a great amount of time at the gym. Jake also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, shooting, working with tools, doodling, and eating an excessive number of Oreos. The things that brought him the most joy was: spending time with his family, celebrating holidays, and hanging out at Cisco's Barbershop with Francisco.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service immediately following, at Jessen Funeral Home & Simple Cremation, 729 N. US Highway 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, in Edinburg, IN 46214.

Haven´t talked to Jakie May in a long time, but one memory I have was sharing a drink with him at Buffalo Wild Wings back at the end of March 2019.
