James Love Obituary
James was born March 24, 1952 in Stanly County, NC to Lucy Dean Teeter and the late Conley G.H. Love.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Love as well as his first wife, Jean Evelyn Love (stepson David); brothers, George V. Love and John Carl Love; and his grandson and namesake, James Earl Arthur.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm - 12:45pm, Friday, October 7, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 1:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland officiated by Pastor Mickey Howard. Burial will follow at the Charlotte Memorial Gardens at 7632 Hood Road, Charlotte.
The family will receive visitors before and after the service at the home of James' mother, Lucy Teeter, in Midland.
Survivors include mother, Lucy Dean Teeter; sisters, Linda L. (Ed) Taylor, Martha Love, Connie (Fred) Kinley, Debbie T. Love; brothers, Benny C. Teeter, Robert Dale (Kathy) Teeter; aunt, Rachel Bolton; stepdaughter, Kelly "Kaye" Pearson; stepsons, Woody and Tommy Arthur; his loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family whose bonds were unbreakable.
James served the United States Air Force with pride for 20 years, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He was active in the church, and he enjoyed gardening and taking care of his mother. James will be remembered as a loving brother to his six brothers and sisters, and a rock for his family.
Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 16122 St. Martin Road, Oakboro, NC 28129.
