Jamie was born in Louisville to the late Jack and Glenda Stephenson. He worked as a graphic artist for MPG Media Services and considered himself a haunted house tycoon. Jamie was the founder and operator of the Baxter Avenue Morgue haunted house.
He shared his love of Christmas with many friends and family. Jamie was known for spending countless hours tending to the beautiful backyard that he had created.
Carrying on Jamie's legacy are his wife of 33 years, Mary Stephenson; children, Madeline Stephenson, Abigail Stephenson (Elizabeth Stevenson), and Quentin Stephenson (Sarah Kinslow); grandchildren, Kyla, Cameron, Jaysa, and Jasper; brother, Joey Stephenson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation for Jamie will be from 2-8 PM on Tuesday, April 18 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
