Jason Wayne Simpson, a cherished father, son, brother, and uncle, went to be with the Lord onApril 30, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and boundlessenergy. Known for his infectious smile that could light up any room and a heart devoted to familyand friends, Jason lived a life full of joy, connection, and the thrill of a good deal.
Born on New Years Eve 1967 in Oklahoma City, Jason grew up with the wind in his hair, ridingbikes through neighborhood streets and tearing up soccer fields with unmatched zeal. Astandout player, he carried his passion for soccer into adulthood, cheering proudly from thesidelines as his children, Madison and Dillon, followed in his cleated footsteps. Jasons love foran active life never fadedhe was often spotted pedaling through Midwest City or tinkeringunder the hood of a vintage car.
Above all, Jason was a father whose world revolved around his two children, Madison (26) andDillon (20). Raising them was his greatest adventure, filled with Saturday soccer games, impromptu road trips, and backyard barbecues where his stories stole the show. He taughtMadison to chase her dreams with grit and Dillon to fix anything with patience, leaving them alegacy of resilience and love. His children carry his memory in every heartbeat, forever shapedby his unwavering pride and playful spirit.
Jasons warmth extended to his wide circle of friends and family. Whether sharing a cold drink, swapping car parts, or simply listening with his signature grin, he made everyone feel like theybelonged. His knack for storytelling and his love for Oklahomas open roads made everymoment with him an adventure.
Jason is survived by his beloved children, Madison Simpson and Dillon Simpson; his mother,Janice Simpson; his brother, Casey Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whowill forever miss his light. He was preceded in death by his father, Orvell Simpson, whosemechanical savvy Jason inherited.A celebration of Jasons life will be held on May 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Ford Funeral Home inMidwest City, where family and friends will gather to share stories and honor his vibrant spirit.Following the service, a procession will proceed to Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery for a finalfarewell. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Jason by taking a bike ride, cheeringat a soccer game, or finding a great deal in his memorylive boldly, as he did.
Jason Wayne Simpsons laughter echoes in the Oklahoma breeze, and his love lives on in everygoal scored, every car restored, and every heart he touched. Keep rolling, Jasonwe know wehave been saved through faith. not by our own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works,so that no one may boast, (Ephesians 2:8-9), well see you in heaven.
