She is survived by her son, Ronald Dale Barnette of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Chandra Michell Cowart Tucker and husband, John Tucker of New Braunfels, Texas, Christi Elizabeth Cowart Torres and husband Jason Torres of Canyon Lake, Texas and Melinda Page Cowart Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas; and five great grandchildren: Zachary Orion Tucker and Kylie Sue Tucker, J.J. Torres and Bobby Torres, and Erianna Rodriguez; one sister, Barbara Burgess Thomas of Lufkin, Texas; and many relatives and friends.
Billie loved reading and studying her Bible and playing her piano and organ.
Mrs. Barnette was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Barnette of Midwest City, Oklahoma, her daughter Linda Sue Barnette Cowart of Spicewood, Texas, and two brothers, Roy V. Burgess of Pineville, Louisiana, and Buford L. Burgess of Freeport, Texas.
