Jeff N. Dice

Jeffrey N. Dice, age 75, of Johnson City, TN, went to his heavenly home on February 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Niles and Suzanne Dice.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Ginny; daughters Jennifer (Graig) Hoffman and Jackie (Mike) Vavken; grandchildren Makenna, Gabe, Michael, and Ryan; sister Patty (Carson) Smith.

Born in Indianapolis, IN, he was a graduate of North Central High School, graduated from University of Evansville, and earned his master's degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis.

Jeff spent his entire career helping those suffering from mental illness. He began as a public welfare case worker in Evansville, IN. Jeff assisted in the creation of Mulberry Center in Evansville and was Vice President of several health care systems including Welborn/St. Mary's Hospital (Evansville) and Mountain States Health Alliance (Johnson City). He concluded a rewarding career as a hospital administrator at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Jeff also gave his time to the communities in which he lived, serving on boards and organizations too numerous to list.

Jeff's passions included snow skiing, golf, reading, and cooking. He and Ginny were fortunate to have traveled the world together. More than anything, Jeff's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
