Max was a graduate of class of 1957. He then went on to get a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a major in Personnel Management from the University of Evansville in 1973. Max started working at Potter and Brumfield in 1960, and advanced to Lab Supervisor of Engineering in 1973, and retired in 1980. Max was a lifelong member of the Eagles. He was an avid gardener and had a passion for nature. He was well known for his homemade wine. He loved to travel and his favorite places to visit was Colorado, Alaska and Jamaica. Max was very witty and was never afraid to speak what was on his mind. He was very meticulous and an incredible record keeper. He loved to host social gatherings and had a huge network of close friends. Max loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by his sons, Eugene (Sherri) Beasley, Steve Beasley; his grandchildren, April (Tommy) Forker of Newburgh, IN., John (Ivy) Beasley of Oakland City, IN., Bethany (Justin) Cashin of Oakland City, IN., Lucas (Tiffany) Beasley of Oakland City, IN., Caitlin (Justin) Moulton of Boonville, IN., Tabitha (Levon) Sauve of Evansville, IN., and Alex Beasley of Oakland City, IN; his ten great grandchildren; and his two great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Beasley; his parents; his brothers, Wayne Beasley, and Gary Philips; and his children, Larry Beasley, and Mark Hargett.
Services will be announced at a later date and time.

Larry was my 1st cousin. His dad was the oldest of 7 and my dad, the youngest. I remember going to his house with my parents when Paula and I were very young. Adults played a game, Paula and I basically were bored watching little ones.

Max is my first cousin and I remember going to his house with Paula and my parents. Paula and I were bossy cause his kids were younger. The grown ups played cards. He was a good man.
