Jimmy Lee Thompson

Jimmy Lee Thompson, 52 of Round Rock, Texas formerly of Avoca passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022. The family will received friends from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5 in the Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 6 in the Avoca Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Samaneigo officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Creek Cemetery in Avoca.
Jimmy was born October 13, 1969 in Port Smith Virginia to Jimmy Loyd and Barbara Ann (Masters) Thompson. Jimmy served his country in the United States Navy and enjoyed many outside activities such as scuba diving; sky diving, hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was quite the avid outdoorsman. Most of all he enjoyed being around his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Lloyd Thompson and grandparents Truman and Viva Masters and Lloyd and Mary Thompson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Barbara Thompson of Avoca; his wife Shelli Thompson; son Joseph Brantley of San Antonio; daughters Rhianna Beth Smith and Shayla Ann Thompson both of Round Rock; the mother of his children Bobbie Lee Aguinaga; step daughters Ashli Pressly and husband Devin of Norman, OK and Brittani Kleen of Moyock, NC and he was Pops to granddaughter Ainslei Pressly; brothers Wayne Thompson and wife Frieda of Hobbs, NM and Dayton Thompson of Avoca; sister Elizabeth Davis and husband Charles of Avoca; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
