Obituary of Jo-Ann G. Feeley
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jo-Ann Gadoury Feeley, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Jo-Ann peacefully left this world on October 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 28, 1950, and was raised by her Grandparents the late Greta Brown and Herman T. Brown of Columbia Connecticut.
Jo-Ann's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband of 45 years, Stephen Joseph Feeley. They lived together happily in Lebanon Connecticut for 44 years. Their unwavering love and strong partnership were an inspiration to all who knew them. Jo-Ann's daughter, Shannon Feeley-Dinakar, brought immense happiness and pride into her life, and she cherished their bond deeply.
Jo-Ann moved recently from her home in Lebanon, Connecticut to Queen Creek, Arizona to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Shannon and her husband, Sol Dinakar, were blessed to have Jo-Ann as a pillar of strength and guidance in their lives. Jo-Ann adored her role as a doting grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Kian Samson Dinakar and Leila Julianna Dinakar. She always poured her nurturing heart into their lives, creating beautiful memories that will forever be treasured.
Throughout her life, Jo-Ann exhibited an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Warm, gracious, and selfless, she had an incredible ability to connect with others on a deep level. She was outgoing and quick witted with a great sense of humor. Anyone that knew her knew that she was truthful and outspoken. She often inspired others to speak their minds as she often did. Her genuine kindness and thoughtfulness were unmatched, and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Beyond her family, Jo-Ann was known for her deep compassion for others and her strong work ethic. Jo-Ann was an Assessment Care Management Coordinator and dedicated employee of Natchaug Hospital for 44 years. She started working at Natchaug in 1978. Jo-Ann's consistent reliability and dedication to Natchaug played an integral role in the overall function of the department she worked in.
Throughout her life, she actively engaged with her church community as well. She participated as a member in her church choir for over 15 years. She actively participated in multiple fundraisers and various committees through the years. Jo-Ann's kindness and thoughtfulness knew no bounds, and she formed close relationships with her fellow parishioners and church family. Her impact on the lives she touched within her church and community would continue to be felt long after her passing.
Jo-Ann's memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She was an incredible source of love, strength, and compassion, and her loss leaves a void that can never be filled. May her legacy be an eternal reminder of the power of love, selflessness, and kindness.
As per Jo-Ann's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Please visit her memorial website at NeverGone.com in order to honor her memory and offer condolences. Please keep her and her family in thoughts and prayers at this time. Farewell, dear Jo-Ann. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

I first met JoAnn when I came to work at Natchaug Hospital in 2002. Everyone who knew and worked with JoAnn valued and respected her forthright honesty and solid work ethic. She was always a strong and loyal friend with an excellent, if rather wry, sense of humour. I shall greatly miss her - David S Wheeler, PhD
