Joan Louise Fox Wilhelm of Indianapolis died on June 22, 2023. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 25, 1933, to the late Harry and Mabel Fox and 5 siblings.
She is survived by her children Beth, Christopher (Elizabeth), Francis III (Pamela), Nicholas, and Benjamin (Karen), 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Douglas and former husband Francis Jr.
Joan lived most of her life on the southside of Indianapolis where she and family were parishioners of St. Roch Catholic Church and St. Mark Catholic Church, respectively. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School and graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1951.
Visitation for Joan will be held at St. Roch Catholic Church in Indianapolis on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 10:00AM-12:00PM, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00PM. The burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joan’s name to St. Roch Catholic Church or The Johnson County Humane Society.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to O’Riley-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory.
