Joseph William "Bill" Uhler

Joseph William "Bill" Uhler, age 88 of Ringgold, went to be with his Lord on Thursday March 16, 2023. He moved to Ringgold from Bristol, TN 35 years ago. Bill retired from Kmart as a District Manager and then raised and bred Arabian Horses. He was a collector of many things including rare cars, knives, pocket watches and clocks. He was member of Chickamauga Church of Christ.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. and Lenora Uhler; brother, Frankie Uhler; daughters, Darla Uhler and Cindy Uhler; stepson, Rick Davis; and first wife, Adrienne Uhler.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 31 years, Linda Uhler, sons, William "Bill" Michael Uhler (Pam) of Point Marion, PA, John Uhler (Amy) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Scott Davis (April) of Bristol, VA; daughter Crystal Tomci of Ocala, FL; 14 grandchildren; 4 ½ great-grandchildren; his Chickamauga family, Shane and Jennifer Robinson and children; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 1pm until 3pm Monday March 20, 2023 at the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Shane Robinson officiating.
