Terry was born September 9, 1954, the son of Robert Eugene (Gene) and Bertie Mae Orr in Ringgold, Georgia. He graduated from Ringgold High School in 1972 and worked in the carpet industry for many years.
He had a soft heart and helped anyone who asked for assistance. Terry enjoyed gardening, reading and had an amazing memory of family and Catoosa County history.
He was predeceased by his parents and survived by his brother Michael (Janis) Orr, sister Sherry (Van) Warren, sister Beverly (Roger) Nelson and daughter Angela Kori Orr. He will be missed by other family members and by special friends Ronda Leonard, Kari Korhnak and his dog "Buddy".
Interment services will be held by the family at a later date. An online guestbook is available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by W. L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
