It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Ed Uhler. His memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Burlington, 400 S Broad St. Burlington, NC 27215 on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2p.
Edward Charles Uhler, 69, of Burlington, passed away at Cone Health on May 24, 2025.
Ed was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania to the late Edward Henry Uhler and the late Edna Wehr Uhler on September 22,1955. Ed worked as a mechanic in his early years at The Tire Center and retired in the customer service field for Factory Motor Parts, formally known as Sumner Automotive. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Burlington where he faithfully sang in the choir and played percussion in the orchestra. He also took pride in being a percussionist in the orchestra for the NC Baptist Singers.
Ed is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vicki Rosendale Uhler, his son Jesse Alan Adams (Kristi), his daughters Erin Uhler Lynch, Kristin Uhler Comte (Nicholas), Shannin Uhler Hughett (Michael), brother Mark Uhler (Tina) and his grandchildren, Ethan Caleb Adams, Hayden Grace Adams, Brantley Alan Adams, Lily Savell Lynch, Jacob Henry Lynch, Chloe Lois Comte, Zoe Belle Comte, William Uhler Comte and Hayden Ray Hughett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sue Ann Uhler and brother Ray Franklin Uhler (Alicia) of Gibsonville.
A Celebration of Life Service for Ed will be held at First Baptist Church of Burlington, 400 S Broad St. Burlington, NC 27215 on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2p.
