Judith A. "Judy" Kirkland

Judith "Judy" A. Kirkland, 82, of Indianapolis passed away on September 25, 2023. Judy was born to Russel & Margaret (Braden) Davis in Centralia, IL on February 4, 1941.
Judy graduated Centralia Township High School in 1959. She later attended Centralia Jr. College and received a degree in Interior Design from Ray Vogue School of Design. She served as the Alumni secretary at Franklin College for 13 years and later earned a certification as a Cancer Tumor Registrar and finished her career of 13 years at Methodist Hospital.
Judy loved her family very much and was famous for her New Year's party. She was passionate about quilting with her friends. She was also an avid jigsaw puzzler. Judy will most be remembered by her friends as the person most likely to run errands for them and get them to their appointments.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Robert & Richard Davis.
Judy is survived by her two sons: Greg (Susan) Kirkland and Scott (Kelly) Kirkland, grandchildren: Drew, Kassie, Brody, and Eli Kirkland.
A visitation will take place at Noon on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 6111 Shelby St., Indianapolis, IN. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow the visitation.
