Beatrice Jean Beineke, known affectionately as Beatrice to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 85 in Greenwood, Indiana. Born on September 16, 1940, in Beech Grove, Indiana, Beatrice was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life.
Beatrice was the cherished matriarch of a loving family. She is survived by her devoted son, Jeff Beineke and his wife Peggy, and her caring daughter, Michelle Simon and her husband John. Beatrice's legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Chris Horton and his wife Katie, Jeffrey Beineke and his wife Heather, John Beineke and his wife Samantha, and Danielle Simon and her partner Cliff Fisher. She was also the great-grandmother to Mitchell and Bo. Beatrice's brothers, Anthony Napolean and Jay Napolean, along with his wife Rahnae. Her lifelong friend, Mary Wilson, will miss the countless hours they spent together. Beatrice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William, and her parents, Bissolato and Geneva Napolean.
An awesome cook, Beatrice enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, and her recipes will be treasured and passed down for generations. Her interests extended beyond the kitchen; she enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with her dear friend Mary. Beatrice's presence at her grandchildren's sporting events was a constant, and she was their most enthusiastic supporter, always offering encouragement from the sidelines.
The words that best describe Beatrice are loving, thoughtful, and kind. She embodied these qualities in every aspect of her life, touching the hearts of those around her with her gentle spirit and generous nature. Beatrice's unwavering support and unconditional love for her family will be deeply missed, but the memories of her kindness will continue to inspire and comfort them. Her spirit will forever be cherished and remembered
"We would like to thank the staff at Greenwood Village South for the excellent care that was given to her"
