Kathy Sue (Ervine) Buck, 71, of Milton Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
She was born November 10, 1952, in Savannah Georiga, to John and Florence Ervine. She was the first child of a military family with two younger brothers. She traveled the world, living in multiple States and countries to include Japan, Korea, Germany, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, Delaware, and New Jersey. She is a retired civil service worker, retiring from the government with over 30 years of service; and a member of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church in Milton Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Bruce Buck.
She is survived by her brothers, John (Debbie) Ervine of Meridianville, Alabama, and Patrick (Beth) Ervine of Frisco, Texas; sons, Glenn (Julie) Smith of Bremen, Alabama, and Craig Smith of Milton Florida; stepdaughters, Kristen (Jon) Wilson of Milton, Florida, and Kelli (Eric) North of Crestview Florida; eight grandchildren, Amber (Eric) Wilson, Austin Smith, Garrett Burrow, Ryan Smith, Ally Smith, Clay Wilson, Chase Wilson, Madison North and Rocco North; and two great grandchildren, Norah Wilson and Raelynn Wilson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 W Milton, Florida 32570, with visitation from 2:00-3:00pm and service at 3:00pm. Interment will take place later in a private family ceremony where Kathy will join Bruce at Bayview cemetery in Pensacola Florida.
Rev Carl Gallops will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's name to Hickory Hammock Baptist Church, 8351 Hickory Hammock Rd, Milton, Florida 32583.
