Kimberly Humphrey was born in Winter Garden on August 20 of 1965 to David and Shirley Walker.
Through David's work Kimberly moved to Titusville where she grew up. She went to old Dixie Elementary School, then to Madison Middle School, and finally Astronaut High School.
Growing up on the coast the beach, was always an option. The young Walker girls loved camping with their family and spending time at the beach. Kim spent a lot a weekend night at the roller-skating rink with friends and sisters. They also enjoyed swimming, horseback riding, and hang out with friends.
Her first job was at Winn-Dixie where she was a cashier. Kim always talked about the 10 key checkout system. Later she worked at the courthouse in Brevard County. Then life moved her to Darden Restaurants in the corporate office and eventually she became a realtor.
On May 3rd, 1991, she met Billy Humphrey. They were married for a total 30 years. She loved to travel and have lots of adventures with her husband and later with her children Jessica and Hannah. They went white water rafting in the mountains, took cruises, and enjoyed Jeep beach weekends. She was the planner of the family.
Her walk with Jesus started at a young age where she would go to church and Sunday school with friends. Kim attended Lockhart Pentecostal Holiness Church with her husband and friends; this is also where she was baptized. Kim was always excited to help in any way she could; some of the ways she did so was church secretary, children's pastor, youth pastor, Sunday school teacher, and so much more. Kim always had a gift of finding that special someone who she could help when in need. God would use her as a giver. Kim was full of wisdom and could always find the right things to say. She was the type of person to make lifelong friends.
Christmas was Kim's favorite time of year for many reasons. She loved Christmas shopping with her mother-in-law Betty, cookie exchanges, and shopping at The Barn with her mom and three sisters. Kim loved her nieces and nephews. She would always ask them to come by and see her - she had a way of making you feel like you were her favorite. She always put her family first. Kim had three beautiful grandchildren who she loved with all her heart. She always talked about the days where she could retire to spend all her free time with them.
On April 12th of 2022 Kim had a major heart attack. She was airlifted to the cardiac care unit at Advent Hospital Orlando where she fought for 3 months. On July 7th at 11 :45 Kim went to be with the Lord. She will be missed.
She is survived by her parents Shirley and Glenn Davenport; her three sisters, Sonia, Wanda, and Jenny. Her husband Billy; 2 daughters, Hannah and Jessica; 3 grandchildren, Jace, Bryson, And Tinslee and many nieces and nephews.
