Kimberly Dee Moody Sanders, age 53 of Ashland City, TN, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Kimberly was born on January 31, 1970, in Jackson, TN to Delois and Sammy Moody. She was a graduate of Houston County High School. Kimberly loved her family, especially her son. She had a smile that would light up the room. Kimberly’s family will remember her as a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Nathan Cody Sanders of Dickson, TN; sister Kimberly French of Clarksville, TN; brothers, William Hicks of Waverly, TN and Sammy Moody of McEwen, TN; uncles, Larry Moody (Cozette) of Waverly, TN and Ricky Dove (Josie) of Jackson, TN; and grandmother, Laverne Alexander of Jackson, TN.
Along with her parents, Kimberly is preceded in death by her sister, Monnie Lea Birdwell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. A visitation will be held one-hour prior beginning at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Eric Anderson.
