Louis Sayers Obituary

Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked for the Erie Times News as a night shift supervisor in the trucking department. He enjoyed woodworking and painting, going to camp, and hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Sayers and Leo "Butch" Sayers.
He is survived by his wife, Barb (Bacher) Sayers, of Erie; three children, John Sayers, wife Cindy Hannon, of North East, Patti Chernicky, of Erie, and Rick Sayers, of East Springfield; four grandchildren, Amber Chernicky, Justin, Ricky, and Ashley Sayers; two great grandchildren, Barrett Sayers, and A'riya Lilly; two sisters, Millie Schultz, and Donna Fogel.
Per Louis's wishes, there will be no public services. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. is assisting with arrangements.

Louis C. Sayers, Jr., age 84, of Erie, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. Born in Erie on October 26, 1937, he was a son of the late Louis Sr., and Ethel (Stablein) Sayers.
