Luisa Caridad Rasmussen, 85, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, March 20, 2023, in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on November 27, 1937, in El Salvador, to Coronel Rodolfo Nicolas Roque and Luisa (Molina) Roque. In 1965, she settled in America and made it her home for the past 58 years. She married Leonard Rasmussen in April of 1966, and they spent many wonderful years together until his passing in 2018. Luisa could always be found cleaning and spent lots of time keeping everything around her nice and tidy. She loved to be outside, tending to the flowers in her garden. She also enjoyed reading, especially when it came to romance novels. Most of all, she loved her family and any opportunity to spend time with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish and will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
There are no formal services planned at this time. To leave her family a message, please visit her Guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Inurnment will take place in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with her husband, Leonard Rasmussen. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service of Pryor.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Hanna and husband Jeff McCutchen of Adair, OK; sons, Gerald Rasmussen, also of Adair, and William Rasmussen of Claremore, OK; sister, Nina Ramos of El Salvador; four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
