Mary Lou Bromley, 83, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, the daughter of James and Emily Perry. Mary Lou graduated from Dartmouth High School and Kinyon Campbell - Business School.
Upon completing her education, she worked at Centre Jewelers in New Bedford and eventually opened and owned her own jewelry business - Bromley Jewelers in Dartmouth.
Upon her retirement, she moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where she resided until her death. In tropical South Florida, she enjoyed the sunshine, beaches, happy hours, and many fine area restaurants.
Mary Lou loved life, her wonderful friends, and extensive family. She also loved animals– especially her cat, Ebony. Her joys included beautiful jewelry, fine clothing, Dewars Scotch, and fine dining. She was especially fond of going to happy hours at local establishments. There she made friends with all - both patrons and staff - who were touched by her charm and sincerity. She also entertained frequently at her home and could whip together a memorable meal.
Mary Lou enjoyed a life well lived and was much beloved by her family and friends.
Survivors include her devoted daughter, Heidi Bromley and her husband, Bill Bromley of Boynton Beach, Florida, and her loving brother, James Perry of Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
A Memorial Service for Mary Lou will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 188 South Swinton Ave., Delray Beach, Florida.
