Funeral services for Donna Anne (Lesperance) Bromley, age 89, of King Street, Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00AM at Notre Dame Church with Rev. Joseph Morgan officiating. Burial will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Frary Funeral Home from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Mrs. Bromley passed away on Monday afternoon, September 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Vicki Kiah and her husband, Douglas, of Ogdensburg, NY; a son, Matthew Bromley of Rossie, NY; three grandchildren, Heather Kiah of Ogdensburg, NY, Jacob Kiah of Ogdensburg, NY and Caden Bromley of Rossie, NY; sisters, Sylvia Lockwood of Ogdensburg, NY and Regina Thompson of Ogdensburg, NY; a great grandson, Brogan Kiah of Ogdensburg, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her guardian angel, Bobbie Massey. Donna is predeceased by her parents, Leo and Dora Lesperance; siblings, Teresa LaLonde, Joseph Lesperance, Jude Lesperance, Edgar Lesperance, James Lesperance, and Helen Callahan; a grandson, Ethan Kiah; a granddaughter Jenna Bromley; and a great grandson, Briley Ford Kiah.
Donna was born on April 1, 1936, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of the late Leo B. and Dora (Rapin) Lesperance. She attended Holy Cross School and later graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1955. Donna married Alfred J. "Jack" Bromley on July 2, 1966, at Notre Dame Church in Ogdensburg, NY, with Rev. Wilfred Rapin officiating. He predeceased her on November 1, 2015. Donna was first employed at JJ Newberry and later worked at the Surprise Store in Ogdensburg, NY, until her retirement.
Donna found joy in crafting, pouring care and detail into each handmade piece. Her kitchen was always warm with the comforting aromas of home-cooked meals, which she lovingly prepared for those she cherished. Above all, Donna treasured time spent with her family-her greatest source of pride and happiness. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed.
