Mary Cogburn

Mary E. Cogburn, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away on December 24, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born September 29, 1942 in Egypt, Arkansas to Henry Arnold and Helen Cook Arnold.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a faithful member of Old Enterprise General Baptist Church. Mary loved going to church and spending time with family, especially her son and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Don Cogburn; sister, Louise Wewers; and brothers, John, Glenn, and Richard Arnold.
Mary is survived by her son, Scott (Lori) Warren of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jon (Amber) Warren of Trumann, Megan (Brennan) Clark of Charleston, South Carolina, Rickey Langston of Trumann, and Jessica Raby of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Livvy Warren, Bailee Moore, Hunter Martin, Dean Langston, and Quade Langston; brother, Jim (Kay) Arnold of Ravenden; sisters, Sharon Foreman of Walnut Ridge and Linda Goad of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 with the funeral service following at 10:00 a.m. and Bro. Dale Davis officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Arnold Cemetery in Swifton, Arkansas.
Those serving as pallbearers are Jacob Monroe, Eric Arnold, Derek Arnold, Matt Arnold, Collin Lamberson, and Hunter Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Wewers, Steve Arnold, and Gary Arnold.
