Mr. Michael Andrew Lang, age 73, of 370 Glenn Springs Road, Pacolet, husband of Catherine Wynn Lang, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home.
Mr. Lang was born in Illinois, November 26, 1949, the son of Virginia Hansen Lang of Kewanee Il. He was retired from Kohler Company and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Pacolet.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Lang is survived by daughters, Angela Barnett and husband Jerry of Union, and Laura Sorrows and husband Andy of Buffalo. He is also survived by a sister Linda Grant and Roy, and two brothers Gene Lang and Bruce Lang all of Illinois. Mr. Lang was also survived by 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Lang, Jr and his step-father Dick Lang.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2023 at Morning Star Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jackie Carrigan and Rev. Michael Rochester. Burial will follow the service at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Wynn, Phillip Jett, Dale Wynn, Devan Cook, Jeremy Cook, Justin Addis and Josh Sowers.
Memorials may be made to Morning Star Baptist Church, 150 Old Spartanburg Hwy., Pacolet, SC 29372.
The family will be at the home, 370 Glenn Springs Road, Pacolet, SC.
"Today I lay the Love of my life to rest. God sent him from Kewanee Illinois to Jonesville SC to me. We had 53 years together. I always said it was fate God put us together and we stayed together.
He was a loving husband, daddy, and Papa to 7 precious grandchildren.
He will remain in my Heart Forever."
