Michael Kimball Mosher

Michael Kimball Mosher, age 77 passed away at his home in Lakeville on Friday December 8th, 2023. Born on Monday, November 25th, 1946, in Boston, MA, Mike was the beloved son of Richard and Mary Jane (Saxauer) Mosher. Growing up, Mike enjoyed swimming in the pool, skiing, and boating. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1968-71 completing tours in the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas. His love of boating continued on Lake Winnipesaukee, and he enjoyed many seasons cruising there with family and friends. Mike cherished travelling with Mary and making friends wherever he travelled to while seeing new sights and experiences. His friendly outgoing personality instantly made him a beloved central feature at gatherings. Mike had a fondness for going to local restaurants with Mary, his son Michael, and friends. He was someone who never met a stranger and we always joked that he 'had to get out of his bubble' and talk. Mike had a joy of cars and enjoyed his sports cars over the years and reminisced of the muscle car era he grew up in. He enjoyed building Lego sets and having different displays for holidays around the house. He is survived by his best friend and wife Mary Copithorne of Lakeville, his loving son Michael Mosher of Templeton, and his brother Christopher Mosher and his wife Jennifer of Tennessee. Mike was predeceased by his son Jon, his parents Richard and Mary Jane, and his sister Betsy.
In lieu of services, Mike's wish was that people get together with family, friends, and loved ones and go out and enjoy a meal together making great memories.
