Michael Walton Obituary
Michael was a longtime employee of Meijer stores. Even after he retired from there, he loved to go back at least once a week to visit ones dear to him, co-workers and customers alike.
When Michael was 18 he met the Lord Jesus and following the Lord became the meaning of his human life. He had the heart of a true shepherd and had a kind and caring word for everyone he met. He affected the lives of so many and he will be greatly missed. He was a member of the Church in Fairborn.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Clifford Walton. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Diane; two daughters, Jessica (Jose) Solorzano, Olivia Walton; one brother, Chuckie; and two sisters, Geraldine and Joyce; as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family respectfully requests that those in attendance wear a mask.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Church in Fairborn, 78 Old Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324.
