Delores Faye Glenn, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Fairborn, Ohio. She was born on January 29, 1939, in Stafford, Kansas, to the late Carl Wesley and Velma Letha (Cron) Ukens. Delores lived a life rich in love and dedication. She was a devoted military spouse, a role she embraced with grace and strength, supporting her family as they navigated the challenges of military life. Throughout her journey, Delores cultivated a deep appreciation for the joys of family and the simple pleasures of life. She found happiness in gardening, sewing, and cooking—activities that brought her both joy and a sense of accomplishment, and which she shared generously with her loved ones.
Her legacy will continue through her four children: Douglas Glenn of Enid, OK, Denise (Bret) Ingram of Beavercreek, Debbie (Tom) Pennington of Centerville, IN, and Darren Glenn of Fairborn. Delores also took great pride in her six grandchildren—Jeremy, Corry, Keith, Amber, Joey, and Kevin—and her seven great-grandchildren, with another on the way, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, whom she met in Salina, Kansas, in 1957 and married in 1958. Her memory will also be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation in honor of Delores will be held on November 1, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, located at 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Eric Meade officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate her life and legacy.
