Michael Scott Warren, 63, of Coloma passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at home peacefully in his sleep.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, July 28 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Immediately following the memorial service a celebration of Scott's life will continue at the Blizzard Brigade, 3085 Fairview Road, Eau Claire, MI 49111. Scott was born October 31, 1959 in Odesa, Texas to Bob and Lavonda Warren. He graduated from Coloma High School in 1978. He was good with his hands and loved to draw and create. He enjoyed taking things apart to see how they work and put it back together again. He excelled in tool and die, winning a machine shop scholarship to Lake Michigan College. Scott worked at Weldun International / Bosch and became a programmer for 5 axle CNC machines, retiring in 2022.
Scott loved to ride his Harley and work on it, sometimes parking it in our living room for the winter and decorating it for Christmas. He enjoyed going to concerts and listening to music. He had a lot of friends and just loved to laugh. He loved hot weather to the point he wore his long johns almost year round. He was good at whatever he decided to do. He once made his own bow, learned how to shoot it, shot and harvested a deer with it, and never shot it again. Scott was very proud of his 1968 Nova he rebuilt along with his 1992 Harley.
Survivors include his wife Jackie whom he married May 26, 2000; his two daughters, Dawn and Dana, his mother Lavonda Warren, his two brothers Bob and Steve, and his favorite kitty Taco.
He was preceded in death by his father Bob.
Scott was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
