On December 29, 2022, Norman James Dillon, III peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Norman was born in Mount Kisco, NY on November 17, 1958.
He spent his teenage years living in Ohio and graduated from New Knoxville High School in Knoxville, Ohio in 1977. A few years after graduation Norman relocated back to the east coast in 1980. He then built a life for himself near family in New Jersey, where he resided until his passing.
From a young age, Norman was a mechanical genius. He was a master handyman without formal training and spent his adult life working as a technician in various trades.
From installing garage doors to automotive mechanics and everything in between, if it was mechanical he was able to get it working.
He loved cars. In the last few years of his life he was proud to own a 1948 Studebaker that he acquired from his Uncle.
He will be remembered as an honest, generous, reliable man with a huge heart who was
always eager to help others.
Norman was the oldest of 10 children. He is survived by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
