Orvil Bray, Jr., age 79, passed away on March 31, 2024.  Orvil was born on June 30, 1944, in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Orvil Bray Sr. and Kathryn (Miller) Bray.

Orvil enjoyed fishing, cars (especially his yellow Corvette), travelling the world, but most importantly he loved his family.  Orvil served his country in the Army retiring as a Battalion First Sergeant after 26 years of service.   He was an Electrical Engineer and worked in the Boat and Barge Construction.  His great sense of humor and love will be missed.

Orvil is preceded in death by his parents Orvil and Kathryn Bray; great-grandson Aiden; and brother Bobby Bray.  He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Gary) Fuller; son Christopher (Melissa) Bray, grandchildren Ashley (David) Henry, Brittany (Michael) Buynack, Joseph (Ashley) Fuller, and Katelynn Bray; six great-grandchildren Ava, Noah, Roland, Keely, Ezera, and Ana.  In addition, he is survived by Carol Bray, Carissa (Kyle) Bell, Scott Gearing, Addy (Josh) Yoder, and Miles Yoder.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 10am to 12pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home.   Services will begin at 12pm in the Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
