Patty Lamp

Patricia "Patty" Lamp, 71, of Norris City, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on March 4, 1952, in Eldorado, IL the daughter of Malcom and Gertrude (Cozart) Smith. Patty married Curtis Lamp on February 16, 1973 at the United Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Norris City. She was a devoted lifelong member of the United Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. Patty was also a member of the Norris City American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed singing and dancing and was an avid animal lover, especially her cats and dogs.
Patty is survived by her husband, Curt; children, Chris Lamp of Huntsville, AL, Ronnie (Katey) Lamp of Vienna, IL and Misty Lamp of Norris City; six grandchildren, Ronni P. (Casey) Murphy, Tiffany (Cody) McCluskey, Alex Lamp, Aaron Lamp, Jackson Lamp and Anistyn Lamp; a great-granddaughter, Elianna Lynn Murphy; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ronald Smith and Samuel Roye Smith.
A service to celebrate the life of Patricia "Patty" Lamp will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the United Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Norris City. A visitation will be held on Thursday from noon till service time at 2:00 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Norris City. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patty's memory to the United Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Norris City and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
