Peggy Webb Obituary
A native of McDowell County, Peggy was born on November 11, 1951 to the late J.C. Webb and Retha Creson Webb.
Peggy retired from Baxter Healthcare after many years of service and was one of the original employees. A longtime member of Ashworth Road Missionary Baptist Church, Peggy was a Sunday School teacher and had a heart for missions. Teaching the women and children was something she was passionate about. She will be deeply missed by her church family. Peggy loved reading and was a talented writer. She wrote many of the Christmas plays for her church. She was a wonderful sister and truly had a heart of gold.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Webb and wife Deborah; her sister, Laura "Jeannie" Buchta and husband Ron; and nieces and nephews, Ron Buchta, Jr., Leah Buchta Starrett (Brian) and Chris Mostiller (Kim); great nieces, Kendall Mostiller, Sloane Sarrett, and Autumn Buchta, along with her dog Chance.
The family will hold a memorial service at Ashworth Road Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, July 02, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ashworth Road Missionary Baptist Church or to the Gideon's.
