Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ferguson Funeral Home - Plain City from May 18 to Jun. 1, 2023.
Perva Lorain (Smith) Leach, age 62, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at her home in
Plain City, Ohio. She was born on March 14, 1961 to Manuel Marcum and Polly (Smith) Messer in
Louisa, Kentucky.
Perva was a woman who didn't know a stranger, who loved very deeply. She loved all of her family with every fiber of her being, as well as all of her friends, whom she loved and considered family. Above this, she loved the Lord, her Father, with her whole heart and soul, and would speak the word of God to all who would listen, as it was imperative and important for her to know that she would see everyone again someday.
Bluegrass music coursed through her veins, and to hear her sing it was an absolute treat and blessing! She had a wonderful gift to listen, talk to, and mentor others, as she was a confidant to many!
Perva was definitely a woman of many talents: cooking, swapping recipes, making up her own dishes; and none ever a disappointment, always making sure all who came around or were close by to be fed. The list of other gifts goes on and on.
No one ever left her presence without immeasurable love, peace of mind, a full stomach, and the Grace and fulfillment of being consumed with the Holy Spirit.
Hootie Hooo! to the (Queen)
