Peter Robert De Luca

Peter Robert De Luca, 74, of Warwick, PA, passed away on Friday, August 13th , 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Pete was born in Passaic, NJ, the son of the late Josephine De Angelo De Luca and Martin De Luca. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice Marie Toth De Luca, his father-in-law Joseph Toth of Warwick, PA, and his brother-in-law Thomas Toth, of Tucson, AZ. His mother-in-law, Frances Moran Toth, recently passed away on 8/17/21. He is also survived by his sister, Marie De Luca Tartaglia and her husband Frank Tartaglia of Ellicott City, MD. He was a devoted dad to his daughters Tracy De Luca Morgan and April De Luca Passaro, supportive father-in-law to Bill Morgan and Scott Passaro, and proud grandfather to his grandchildren Nathan, Gavin, Sophia & Adriano. The was nothing more important to Pete than his family. He was very involved in his children's and grandchildren's lives. Coordinating weekly family Sunday dinners and attending his grandchildren's activities were the times he treasured the most. He took care of everyone by making sure things were working so they would be prepared and safe. Always the planner, Pete was an Engineer and Project Manager for Lucent before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church in Jamison and an active member of the Heritage Creek community in Warwick where he served as the Basil Management Chairperson. Pete was very social and loved to be busy. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Del Ray Beach, Florida, playing the guitar, listening to music/bands and playing golf. He was a passionate N.Y. Yankees, N.Y. Giants, Penn State football and Villanova basketball fan. He was a loyal friend to many from his high school in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, and to neighbors living in Heritage Creek and in Casa Playa, Florida. He will be missed by so many people whose lives he touched in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. His strong faith carried him through the good and bad, and we find peace knowing that he is now in the arms of the Lord. Relatives and friends are invited to Pete's Life Celebration on Friday, August 20th , 2021 from 10:15-11:15am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem in Jamison, PA. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately after the viewing. Inurnment to follow the mass at Pine Grove Memorial Park and Cemetery in Hatboro, PA.
