Racheal N. Germain, 36, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Chicago, IL.
Racheal was born on April 3, 1987, in Watseka, IL, the daughter of Wayne and Diane (Hamlin) Germain. Racheal was most recently employed at AdTech Industries in Watertown working on the print line. Prior to that she worked as a cook at Denny’s in Waukesha. Racheal loved her job at Denny’s and her coworkers.
Racheal’s favorite hobbies were painting and drawing, she was a great artist. She also loved to write, she enjoyed writing short stories and poetry. In 1998 and 1999 she had several poems published in the “Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans”. Several of her stories and poems were also printed in the Kankakee Journal in Illinois. She was awarded “The Most Published Young Writer” award in 1999 and 2000. The topics of her writings and poems most often were family and pets. Her childhood dog Brigette was her best friend growing up. Racheal loved to shop, she loved buying clothes, jewelry, make up, and shoes. She also loved to cook and decorate her home; she had great style for decorating.
Racheal loved family centered activities and time spent with her children. She will most be remembered for her infectious smile, beauty, fashion sense, and over-the-top personality.
She is survived by her children Breanna, Japheth, Paul, and Grayson, mother Diane (Ryan) Regent, father Wayne (Jace) Germain, and fiancé Nicolas Navamayy. Siblings Karen (Tim) Germain, Kristina Germain, Cody Germain, and Kaelee Germain. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorials in Racheal’s honor may be made to the family is desired.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 1:00pm until the time of service.
