Ralph E. Colliver

Ralph "Gene" Colliver, 87, of Battle Ground, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Cumberland Pointe.
Gene was born July 30, 1936 in Greencastle, IN, to the late Gilbert and Waneta (Evans) Colliver. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
On May 9, 1958 he married the love of his life Jean Ann Keiser. He was a very dedicated caregiver to his wife for several years before her passing on March 19, 2020.
Gene owned and operated Colliver's Heating and Cooling from 1976-2014. He also served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Tippecanoe Township Fire Department in Battle Ground. Gene drove the Harrison High School Football and Basketball team's bus. He was a member of Battle Ground Methodist Church, Heartland Community Church, Holiday Rambler Camping Club and Good Sams Camping Club. He enjoyed working and camping. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his children: Loretta Pattee (Jim) of Lafayette, Doug Colliver (Cheryl) of Martinsville, IN, and Brenda Francis (Mike) of West Lafayette; six grandchildren: Jamie Seng (Jason), Jason Pattee (April), Heather Stokes (Ryan), Elizabeth Colliver, Ashley Hubertz (Andrew), and Evan Francis; and eight great-grandchildren Daniel and Abigail Seng, Tristin and Bailey Pattee, Colton and Palmer Stokes and Griffin Hubertz and baby girl Hubertz due in November.
Along with his wife, Jean Ann, he is preceded in passing by his parents, brother: Edwin Colliver and sister Carolyn Colliver.
Visitation will be held from 4pm – 7pm Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Hippensteel Funeral Home with a Last Alarm Service beginning at 7pm. Funeral service will begin at 10am on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Battle Ground Methodist Church with Pastor Sheri Rohrer officiating. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department or the Battle Ground Methodist Church.
