Robert D Fisher Sr

Robert (Bob) Fisher passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mount Holly to Nancy and Doug Fisher of Buddtown, NJ, he helped run their dairy farm and participated in sports and 4H competitions and finished 3rd in his class. Bob married his Pemberton High School sweetheart Ethel Earley, and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary!
Bob was highly successful in his marriage, career, and with parenting. He began working for Bell Telephone after attending Rutgers for a semester, and continued running his parents farm for a year while working and continuing his education. After 30 years and many promotions within Bell Telephone ending at the District Manager position, he retired and began a new venture working with the Trecom Systems Group as VP of their Senior Management Consultants division before retiring again 9 ½ years later.
Through the years Bob served his church and community. Along with serving as a member and officer of the Vestry with St. Andrews Episcopal in Mt. Holly for many years, he did the same with St. Paul's Episcopal when he moved to Randoph, NJ due to a job transfer. Once retired he served as a member and Lay Hospital Visitor at Unity of Naples in Florida. Bob was a member and one term President of both Kiwanis International and the Jaycees, a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America Club, the Optimus International Group, President of the PTA, School Board Member, and Falcons Glen Association Board. He also volunteerd with the Indian Guides, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and coached baseball. After retirement, Bob enjoyed many years in Naples Florida hosting family and friends and sharing the best found activities and restaurants, and continued his love of reading, music in the park, travel and the coffee club.
Bob is survived by his wife Ethel (Earley), his three children Michelle Lovenduski (Dean), Bob Fisher (Joan), and Tom Daly (Joanne), along with 10 grandchildren, Stacey Caltabiano, Douglas Fisher, Christine Marghilano, Scott Fisher and & Sarah Kernan, Tommy Daly, Sean Daly, and Colleen Daly, Jenna Gold, and Jessica Caberwal, and 6 great grandchildren Juliana, Ryleigh, Angelina, Rosario, Cooper, Scottie, with one more on the way, and 1 great great granddaughter Tabbitha.
The family held a private service and would welcome donations to the American Heart Association, or to plant a tree on Bob's behalf. We will always remember him as the most amazing husband, father and friend any one of us was blessed to know and love.
