Dipesh Patel, age 63, of Somerset, New Jersey, passed away on November 6, 2025.
Born on August 19, 1962, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, Dipesh was the beloved son of Madhukanta Patel and the late Manhar Patel. His family came to the U.S. in 1970 to New Jersey and spent a majority of his life residing in New Jersey with some time spent in Connecticut. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and the University of Bridgeport in 1987.
Dipesh built a successful career in software engineering and most recently served as a Senior Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase. Known for his sharp intellect, dedication, and kindness, he earned the respect of his colleagues.
A devoted son, brother, and uncle, Dipesh is survived by his loving mother Madhukanta Patel from Norwalk, CT; his sister Keyuri (Tina) Yagnik of Alpharetta, GA and her husband Nilesh Yagnik; his brother Nilesh Patel of Middlefield, CT and his wife Nima Patel; and his cherished nieces and nephews — Anisha Yagnik, Nikhil Yagnik, Kareena Patel, and Aashni Patel.
Dipesh was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan who rarely missed watching games. He found happiness in simple pleasures — most importantly, caring for his mother. He enjoyed attending concerts, traveling (with recent trips to California, Georgia, Las Vegas and Spain), and taking rides on his e-bike whenever he could.
His warmth, humor, and quiet generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
