Robert C. McDaniel

McDANIEL, Robert C., passed away on April 28, 2023, he was 90. Beloved husband of Janet H. McDaniel (nee Hendrickson). Loving father of Teresa Nettleton, Barbara Shattuck and her husband, David Shattuck, Margaret Faris and her husband, the late David Faris, Joseph McDaniel and Jennifer Watson and her husband, James Watson. Dearly loved grandfather of Christopher Nettleton, Ryan Nettleton, George Shattuck, Joshua Shattuck, Michael Baver, Stephanie Baver, Jessica Lauria, Genevieve Watson and Everet Watson and great grandfather of Aiden, Connor, Gabriel, Evan, Harrison, Lucas, Claire and Veronica.
Born in Camden, Mr. McDaniel was raised in Moorestown and graduated from Moorestown High School. He went onto proudly serve our nation in the US NAVY during the Korean War and also proudly served the Marlton community in the capacity of a part time police officer. He spent his working career in communications. After retiring from Verizon, he alongside his wife, Janet, owned and operated Twisted Pair, Inc., a communications, data and voice wiring systems company. He was an avid reader and loved to share stories about his past, revealing a softer side that many may not have known. He spent a majority of time in his garage, tinkering, fixing and building things, and enjoyed boating and traveling with his wife.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family on Wednesday May 3 from 10:30-11am at the Southside Baptist Church 673 Eayerstown Road, Lumberton where a Memorial Service will be held at 11am. Interment will be private at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
