Rodney Lunday Obituary

A native of Moore County, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Gladys Wood Lunday. Rodney served in the US Marine Corp and was a graduate of Sandhills Community College and UNC Charlotte where he earned two Bachelor degrees and was a Certified Public Accountant.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Henry Lunday, Don Lunday and Chris Lunday.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patricia Day Lunday; children Keith Allen Lunday and husband Jason Renzaglia of Raleigh, Karen Ann Lunday Oddono and husband Ray of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kevin Austin Lunday of Columbia, SC; brothers Dayton Lunday of Pinebluff, Michael Lunday of Southern Pines, Richard Lunday of Columbia, SC.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Beulah Hill Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Jared McNeill. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org or call 800.227.2345 to make a donation.
