Mark Anthony Lunday, Jr, age 86, of Hoschton, GA passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Mark Anthony Lunday, Sr and Frances Tate Lunday. Mr. Lunday is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Gary) Pierce, Angela (Mickey) Dutton, and Lynne (Brian) Sammon; grandchildren, Brian and Ashley Pierce, Mark Pierce, Reed and Brenda Dutton, Ryan and Catherine Dutton, Katie and Nate Alfonso, AnnMarie and Chad Wethern, Meredith and Clint Kelly; great grandchildren, Crawford Pierce, Tripp Pierce, James Wethern; sister, Martha Bart; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Lunday was born on December 13, 1938 in Augusta, GA. He was 1956 graduate of Brown High School in Atlanta, GA and attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta. He was an engineer consultant for PEDCO Company, and also owner of M L Technical Services. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. Mr. Lunday loved photography, sports, the Atlanta Braves, and Georgia Tech. He was very patriotic, and he was a polio survivor from Warm Springs. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with the family receiving friends at the Church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., time of the Funeral Mass.
