Sandy Baumgarten

Sandra "Sandy" Francis Baumgarten, of Beaver, PA, passed away on October 31, 2025 surrounded by loving family members. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 26, 1947, to the late John and Ludmilla Tegge. Sandy grew up in West View, PA and graduated from North Hills High School in 1965. She is survived by her sister Deborah Petrush (George Sr.); two children, Ronald J. Baumgarten, Jr. (Michele) and Amy Frashure (Mike); grandchildren, Kayla, Brianna, Emily, Michael, Cameron, Jackson, and Emma; great-grandchildren, Liam and Matthew; niece Jill Rogers (Tom); nephew George Petrush, Jr. (Julie); and numerous other in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sandy is preceded in death by Ronald J. Baumgarten, Sr., her loving husband of 51 years. Sandy was a caring mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her strong Catholic faith; her love of animals (including the late Buttons and Gizmo); her numerous collections (spoons, giraffes, etc.); her crafting talents and holiday decorations; her fondness for summers spent at the RV with Ron Sr.; and her loyal support of the Pittsburgh Penguins! Requiescat in Pace. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Richard Catholic Church, Sts. Martha and Mary Parish, 3841 Dickey Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044, followed by interment at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery, 4629 Bakerstown Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044.
