Sherby Solomon Hatchett III

Sherby Solomon Hatchett lll, affectionately known as "lil Sherb" and "G-Sherbo" to his family and friends, was born November 19, 1997, in Abington, PA to Tonya S. DeShields and Sherby Hatchett ll. On March 10, 2023, Christ called Sherby home. He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church.
Sherby received his education in the Cheltenham School District where he received his diploma and graduated with the class of 2016. Sherby attended two years of school at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and received many "good citizenship" certificates for his dedication to his community.
Sherby pursued a career in food management and became a manager in the McDonald's franchise. His passion was football; he played the cornerback position in high school. He also won the state championship in weightlifting.
Sherby was known for his loyalty, compassion, empathy, and love for his friends and his family. He was also known as a jokester with the biggest smile that could light up any room he entered. Sherby was a person you could lean on and could always depend on even when he showed up too early or too late. He was a great father and made sure his kids had everything. Sherby was a fearless man who was not afraid to live life.
Sherby leaves to preserve his memory: his mother Tonya S. DeShields Hatchett and his father Sherby Hatchett ll; his three sons Thaddeus Solomon Hatchett, Mas'aad Saddiqq King- Hatchett,and Sherby Hatchett IV; two sisters Tayonne P. Gaines and Sarai L. Hatchett; two brothers Wayne E.Hatchett, Lonnie M. Hatchett; grandparents Shirley and Ernest Gilyard, Cynthia and Ronald Miller, and Vera W. Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends. Though Sherby's time with us was shorter than we wanted, his spirit and impact on our hearts will be forever with us.
