Shirley Kato Clements, 83, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Palemon Gaskins Memorial Nursing Home in Ocilla, Georgia.
Private services will be held.
Mrs. Clements was born February 1, 1941, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Andrew Jackson & Lillie Fowler Kato. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and growing flowers. She was an avid reader who enjoyed collecting and thrifting. She also had a love for animals and enjoyed caring for them. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing specials.
She is survived by her children: Randy & Ramona Clements of Germany, Carmen & Sam Evans of Irwinville, Tammy & Neal Ross of Ocilla, and Lisa Clements of California; grandchildren: Melissa Clements, Amber & Daniel White, Megan Clements, Holly & Clayton Roberts, Zachary Wilson and his fiancé, Shelby Fraser, Leah Ross, and Jonathan Wilson; a great-granddaughter, Caroline White; and a sister, Martha Ann Perkins of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie C. Clements and several siblings.
