Steven Leroy Bentley, known to his loved ones as Steve, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on June 7, 1960, in Jamestown, New York, and departed from this world in Tampa, Florida.
Steve dedicated a significant portion of his life to his career as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Trademark Metals Recycling. His hard work and expertise were highly regarded in his field, demonstrating his commitment and passion for his profession.
In addition to his work, Steve was an active member of both Am Vets and VFW, both located in Zephyrhills. He valued the camaraderie and shared experiences he found within these organizations.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Bentley and Janet Dennis, as well as his brother, Daniel Bentley, and sister, Carolyn Bentley Whitmore. Their memories will forever be cherished.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna, who stood by his side through the joys and challenges of life. Steve's legacy also lives on through his three sons, Brian, Adam, and Nathan Bentley, who will carry forward the values he instilled in them.
Steve will be deeply missed by his brothers, Doug Whitmore, Christopher Bentley, and Roy Bentley, as well as his sisters, Ronda Rumbaugh and Sandy Moran. Their bond as siblings was unbreakable, providing support and love throughout the years.
Although Steve has left this world, his memory continues through his grandchildren, Bralynn Bentley and Bryce Green. They will forever remember him as a loving grandfather who cherished their presence calling him Pop Pop.
Services for Steve will be held privately and at a later date, commemorating his life with utmost respect and reverence.
As we bid farewell to Steven Leroy Bentley, let us remember his unwavering dedication to his work and the love he shared with his family. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the beautiful memories they shared together.
