With a heavy heart the family of Susan Lynn "Sue" Elbrader 70, announce her passing on February 18, 2024, following a courageous battle against cancer where she was surrounded by her family.
She was born August 1, 1953, in Ogden, Utah. The daughter of Karl Seifert and Shirley Weir-Seifert-Walling. She was raised in Weber and Davis counties. She graduated Layton High School, class of 1971.
On November 10, 1973, Susan married Logan Paul "Sam" Herzog in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were happily married for 27 years until Sam lost his battle to cancer. On September 2, 2001, Sue married Jare Trent Elbrader in Avalon, California.
Sue retired from Hill Air Force Base. She enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, traveling, boating, and most all spending time with her family and friends. She was an outgoing, meticulous, loving, and compassionate person who always put others above herself.
She is survived by her husband, Jare Trent Elbrader, West Point; her daughter, Monica Sue (Striker) Fuit, Montana; her son, Troy Logan Herzog (fiancé Karly), Garland; stepson, Jaremy (Trish) Elbrader, Tremonton; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Sherrie (Richard) Almeida and brother, Kelly Walling.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Karl; mother, Shirley; first husband Logan Paul "Sam" Herzog; brother, Larry J Michael Seifert; brother, Alan Seifert; brother, Johnny Walling; brother, Dan Seifert.
Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at West Point Cemetery, 80 North 4000 West, West Point, Utah, at 2:00 p.m..
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at The River View Ranch, 5800 South Adams Avenue Parkway, Washington Terrace, Utah, from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Canyon Home Care & Hospice for their help in her care.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Primary's Children Hospital.
